​With over 7 years of training in ballet, contemporary, and pre-pointe, and a background in science and the arts, Sky brings a rare combination of rigor and vision to her teaching. Her goal is not just to teach dance, but to build something lasting - a program that grows with the students, culminates in original island productions, and one day supports a professional dance company rooted in Avalon.

 

Classes take place inside the Catalina Museum for Art & History, which has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and the island's history as your backdrop.

Intro to Ballet Productions

Intro to Ballet Productions invites students into the magic of storytelling through dance. Dancers will learn performance skills while exploring Catalina’s unique adaptations of classic ballets including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Giselle.

Teens Pre-Pointe

This class is designed for teens 13+ who dream of dancing on pointe. No prior ballet experience required, and beginners are encouraged. The goal is building the strength, alignment, foot conditioning & artistry for future pointe.
